The 1st episode of EdTech Talks Podcast has landed! Here’s an inspiration from Monica Thieu, who creates impressive neuropsychology explainer videos.

Meet George Wienekus, a seventh grade math teacher and researcher from South Africa. In addition to teaching math, he was also the Head of the Math Department at St. Andrew’s Prep School up until his recent relocation to the UK.

Meet Michelle Williams, a truly ignitED educator whose job is to help students who are struggling with math. The way she sees it, the use of technology is essential to supporting the learning of underprivileged students.

Meet Jacob Bowman, a physics teacher at Norwell High School, located just outside of Fort Wayne, Indiana. He teaches AP Physics 1 as well as an integrated chemistry and physics course. His students range from sophomores to high school seniors.

Meet Darren Lester, teacher of both classical and modern languages at Wycliffe College where he teaches French, Chinese and Latin.

Meet Paul Tullock who he has been able to discover numerous inventive ways of utilizing the whiteboard app, finding unconventional methods of helping children with learning impediments, teaching students as young as Pre-K, and even… using explainer videos to teach P.E. classes! 

Meet Monica Thieu, a PhD student of psychology and assistant teacher at Columbia University in New York. She creates cool whiteboard videos to help explain complex ideas to her students.

Meet Stacey Bernier, who’s job is to help teachers use digital tools. His go-to app is Explain Everything for most assignments across different age groups. One of the most exciting and rewarding, however, is digital literacy training in kindergarten (K-5).

David Grew MD. is a Connecticut-based radiation oncologist practicing at Trinity Health of New England. In his work with patients, he creates short and easy to follow videos using Explain Everything.

Meet Carolina Mendez, Doctor of Cognitive Neuroscience, speech and language pathologist and assistant professor at Pontificia Universidad de Chile. Find out about her ways of using Explain Everything in her everyday work.
